Appleyard brings over 25 years’ experience as a communications leader. She currently holds the position of Director of Internal Communications at Epidemic Sound, responsible for the development and delivery of internal communications to its global workforce. Prior to Epidemic Sound, Appleyard held a number of senior communications positions including across UK health and government agencies. Directly before moving to Sweden, she served as Head of Communications for HM Prisons and Probation Service where she built a multi-award-winning communications service and was responsible for all of the communications strategies for this government agency, its 50,000 staff, and major change programmes and campaigns. Lisa has served as senior communications advisor to multiple boards, executive teams, government ministers, and change programmes.
