INVISION supports LipoClinic in further growth INVISION, a leading private equity firm focused on investments in mid-sized companies in the DACH region, invests in the LipoClinic Dr. Heck GmbH („LipoClinic“) and therefore supports the company in continuing its successful expansion strategy. LipoClinic, worldwide leading in the treatment of lipedema, is an important service provider in the healthcare sector with more than 3,000 surgeries per year. Besides the advisory of patients, LipoClinic focuses on the operational treatment of the lipedema. With a superbly trained team of surgeons and 80 employees as well as a modern technical equipment, LipoClinic offers first-class medical know-how, innovative treatment methods and a proven service quality. LipoClinic has been founded by the experienced surgeon Dr. Falk-Christian Heck and is successfully led together with the managing director Stefan Brügge. Dr. Heck keeps a significant stake in the company and together with Stefan Brügge the management team will actively shape the continuation of the success story with its medical know-how and entrepreneurial experience. The experienced team of surgeons continues the growth path and will clearly prioritize the quality of patient care as it has always been the case. Dr. Falk-Christian Heck, founder of LipoClinic comments: «Everything stays as it is for our employees and patients», and adds: «Our team has worked highly motivated on the development of LipoClinic. We are very proud that we have become the market leading clinic in lipedema treatments and are excited having found a strong partner like INVISION to provide even more patients with an ideal treatment. For us, growth investments will always contribute to improving the quality of our treatments.» Eduard Reder, director at INVISION: „We are very proud to partner with LipoClinic and look forward to actively support the growth of the business in the coming years together with the whole team. The LipoClinic is extraordinary and has a medical function, which is tremendously important. Together with Dr. Heck and Stefan Brügge, we want to expand the offer for the patients and therefore help more affected people.“ About LipoClinic The LipoClinic is the worldwide leader in the surgical treatment of the lipedema and has been founded by the experienced surgeon Dr. Falk-Christian Heck in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Dr. Heck and the surgeons at LipoClinic have long-standing experience in the diagnosis and treatment of lipedema. Still today, their motivation and focus on the treatment of lipedema is missing acceptance for the physical and mental suffering of the persons affected due to the missing awareness of the lipedema as a disease – a disease, where exercise and diets often stay ineffective.
