Ismail Ahmed is the Founder and Chairman of WorldRemit, the leading digital money transfer company that's pioneering a mobile approach to sending money around the world. Ismail founded the company in 2010. Since then, it has secured over $375 million in funding, backed by Accel, TCV and LeapFrog, and has been named the fastest growing technology company in the UK. Serving previously as a compliance adviser to the United Nations, Ismail founded the company on the principles of strong compliance procedures, recognising that the only way to meaningfully reduce the risks in the money transfer industry was to bring the entire process into the digital world. Ismail has been named one of the top ten most influential black Britons in the UK and won EY Entrepreneur of the Year, London and South. Originally from Somaliland, he has worked with the UN in Nairobi and Dubai. He has a PhD from the University of London and an MBA from London Business School.

John co-founded Farview Equity Partners in 2019. John has over two decades of experience as a growth-oriented technology investor and board member with a focus on SaaS, technology-enabled information and business services, and financial technology. John currently serves on the boards of Unily and Exclaimer. ​ Before co-founding Farview, John spent 18 years at TCV, a provider of capital to growth-stage private and public companies in the technology industry. Originally based in Silicon Valley, John moved to London in 2012 to establish and lead TCV’s European investment team. As a General Partner, John either led or actively participated in TCV’s investments in Believe Music Group (EPA: BLV), TastyTrade, World Remit, Retail Merchant Services, NewVoiceMedia (acquired by Vonage), Spotify (NYSE: SPOT), brillen.de and Perfecto Mobile (acquired by Perforce). John started his career as an investment banking analyst at Robertson Stephens in San Francisco with a short detour at an ecommerce business called Della.com, before joining TCV in 2000. John received a BA in Economics from Princeton University.
