A large number of those opting for a UK-based holiday are seeking unique and quirky accommodation options. According to Sykes' Staycation Index report, over half (54%) of travellers base their holiday choice on the uniqueness of the accommodation available, often prioritising this over the location itself. In response to this trend, Sykes Holiday Cottages has unveiled five quirky getaways that have recently been added to its portfolio. These include a converted water tower in Derbyshire and a Harry Potter-themed apartment in Northumberland.
